This session focuses on the science of computer hardware. Students will learn the components of computers and how they work together to make computers work. This is the pre-requisite to building a computer. Students will learn the history, current state and future plans for computers. Once the session is complete they will be ready to learn to build a computer.
Ages 12-17
Cost: $250. Qualify for a 20% discount if you take more than 1 session.

Engineering 1-Intro to Computer Technology - June 3 - June 7, 2019
Monday - Friday - 9am to 5pm
Explore the world of computer technology. A series of 1 week sessions designed to expose the student to computer technology concepts including the history, current and future trends. The student will understand the many facets of technology with hands on experiences.
The student will leave with an appreciation of how computers work and how they have helped shape society. They will leave with new knowledge and hands on experience.
Ages 9-17
Interested students can take the complete series and/or qualify for the Jr Engineering camps.

Cost: $250/week. Qualify for a 10% discount by registering for 2 or more sessions or referring another student.

Explorer 2-Intro to Circuitry (12 & up) - July 1 - July 5, 2019
Explorer 2-Intro to Robotics (12 & up) - July 8 - July 12, 2019
Explorer 2-Applications Galore! (9 & up) - July 15 - July 19, 2019
This session focuses on how to maintain and fix computers. Using knowledge from past camps, students will learn how to troubleshoot windows problems and hardware problems. Students will learn the common types of problems and what to do if those problems arise.
